The fish that Mr. Weidenbach raise are an heirloom breed of tilapia that he and his wife Lita have spent more than twenty years perfecting. The quarry is fairly hidden from the road, and the only way to really see it from above is from the Kealia hiking trail that leads into Makua Valley. It's pretty picturesque as businesses go, not to mention, it's an impressive accomplishment as well since the county has designated this land as Class E: too barren even for even goats to graze. But, due to the hard work of the Weidenbachs, this marginal land is now one of the most productive aquaculture farms in the Islands.
